Carolina Antique Tackle Collectors was formed in 1991 by a small group of seven fishing tackle collectors from North and South Carolina. The Club has since grown to over two hundred members representing fifteen states.

CATC's Mission

• Enhance and promote the collection and preservation of antique fishing tackle and memorabilia

• Provide a channel of communication for collectors in the region

• Further interest in the hobby through public exhibits where appropriate

• Promote and host collector meets at least twice a year

Anyone who has an interest in collecting antique fishing lures, rods, reels, or tackle is invited to join the CATC. The Club shows are a wonderful place to see outstanding collections of vintage fishing tackle and display your own collection with people who share your interests.
